Many smartphone brands are set to launch their mobiles in upcoming days/month in India. So here’s the list of upcoming mobile phones in January 2022. These upcoming mobile will be in the budget to premium price range for a buyer.
Moto G71 5G
Moto G71 5G is officially confirmed to launch in India on 10th January. This phone will have 6.4-inch Full HD+ Amoled display, Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and supports 13 5G Bands.
Moto G71 5G comes with 5000mAh battery and 30W turbopower charging. For cameras there is 50MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro on the back and 16MP punch hole snapper on the front. It runs on Android 11, 2 years of security updates and have IP52 splash resistant. For security there is a rear fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
Moto G71 5G will come in 2 different colors: Neptune Green and Arctic blue. Moto G71 5G expected to be priced at Rs.18,999 for 6GB RAM (with 2GB RAM Boost) and 128GB internal Storage.
OnePlus 9RT is launching in India on 14th January. OnePlus 9RT sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ OLED display (1080×2400 pixels) with 120Hz refresh rate, 600Hz touch sampling rate,1300 Nits Peak Brightness, HDR10+, DCI-P3 color gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. There is In-display fingerprint scanner for security and Stereo Speakers by Dolby.
OnePlus 9RT is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset with VC Liquid cooling for better heat dissipation and have triple rear cameras on the back. The Primary sensor is 50MP (Sony IMX766 sensor) with OIS support, 16MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. For the front there is a 16MP top-left punch hole snapper with EIS support.
The smartphone will feature a 4500mAh battery with 65W warp charge fast charging support. It may run on Android 12 with Oxygen OS 12 in it.
OnePlus 9RT will come in two different colors: Nano Silver and Hacker Black. OnePlus 9RT is expected to priced between Rs.40000-44000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, there is also a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant too.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be launch in India on 10th January and goes on sale from 11th January, as per report by Gadgets 360. Pre-registrations are already gone live on Samsung India for only Rs.999. Galaxy S21 FE sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Dynamic Infinity-O S.Amoled display (1080×2340 pixels) with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, In-display FS, Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Galaxy S21 FE will be powered by Exynos 2100 5G chipset. For camera there is a triple rear camera setup on the back. The Primary sensor is 12MP, 12MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x Optical zoom. For the front there is a 32MP selfie snapper.
The smartphone packs a 4500mAh battery with 25W Wired charging, 15W wireless and reverse wireless support. It may run on Android 12 with One UI 3.1 out of the box.
Galaxy S21 FE comes in four different colors: White, Purple, Olive and Graphite. Galaxy S21 FE will be priced around Rs.52000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. There is also 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant too.
iQOO 9 Series
iQOO 9 Series Officially teased for launch in India in BGIS semi-finals and Product page also goes live on iQOO India official website. As per rumors iQOO will make some announcement regarding the Indian launch in the BGIS’s finals which will start from 13th January.
From official teasing it seems that the iQOO is going to launch the iQOO 8 (Chinese variant) in India as iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 (Chinese variant) as iQOO 9 Pro.
Coming up to the specs, iQOO 9 (Indian variant) will have 6.56-inch Full HD+ Amoled display (1080×2400 Pixels) with 120Hz refresh rate and In-display FS. This handset is powered by Snapdragon 888 5G chipset.
For cameras there is triple rear camera setup on the back. 48MP Main Primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide sensor and 13MP portrait sensor. And for the front there is a 16MP selfie snapper. It packs a 4350mAh battery along with 120W fast charging support.
Now comes to the iQOO 9 Pro (Indian Variant) which feature a 6.78-inch QHD+ Samsung E5 LTPO2.0 Amoled display (1080×2400 Pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, DCI-P3 color gamut. This handset will power by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with VC Liquid cooling for better heat dissipation.
For cameras there is triple rear camera setup. 50MP (Samsung GN5 Gimbal Stabilized) main sensor, 13MP wide-angle lens, 13MP portrait sensor. And for front there is 16MP centre punch hole selfie snapper. This handset packs a 4700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
Both the smartphones will run on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
Realme 9i India launch officially teased by Realme India CEO, Madhav Seth and its moniker has appeared on the Realme’s India official Store. So we can expect the launch event in upcoming weeks for India.
Realme 9i has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display (1080×2400 pixels) with 480nits brightness, 90Hz refresh rate and a side fingerprint scanner. This handset is powered by Snapdragon 680 4G chipset.
For cameras there is a triple rear camera setup on the back. 50MP primary sensor, 2MP portrait sensor and 2MP macro senor. For selfies there is a 16MP front camera. This handset packs a 5000mAH battery with 33W fast charging support.
Other specs of Realme 9i are Dual Speakers, Plastic back, dual nano-SIM a microSD slot, WiFi 2.4GHz, 5.0GHz, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C. The handset will weigh around 180grams and 8.4mm in thickness.
Realme 9i will come in two different colors: Prism Black, Prism Blue and have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
Tecno Pop 5 LTE
Tecno Pop 5 LTE listed on Amazon India as “Coming Soon”, so we can expect the launch in 3rd or 4th week of January in India. Tecno Pop 5 LTE will feature a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS LCD Dot-Notch display (720×1600 pixels) with 60Hz refresh rate and rear mounted fingerprint scanner.
The handset is powered by SC9863 chipset. There is a dual rear camera system on the back consists of 8MP primary sensor, 0.3MP depth sensor. For selfies there is 5MP front camera. It will pack a 5000mAh battery and doesn’t support fast charging. It will run on Android 11 Go Edition.
