Last year there was news which suggested that Oppo is working on its chipset but in reality, it is an ISP. As per the report of “LatePost”, the ISP chip from OPPO’s chip unit ZEKU was released earlier this year and is likely to be used in the Find X5 to be launched in the first half of 2022.
ZEKU currently covers product lines, including core application processor, short-range communication, 5G modem, RF antenna, ISP and power management chip. In addition to ISP chips, ZEKU is also developing mobile phone SoC (System on Chip).
